Ring, Ring, Ring went the trolley. And boy, did it ever. As the first stop on our trip, we traveled to the deep South (Paula Deen land) of Savannah, GA. Sweet tea, cornbread, fried chicken. oh my! (Thelma's nightmare...)
While in Savannah, we highly recommend dining at the Pirate House. Not only will you meet Elijah, aka the voice of sex, and the pirate Jack Sparrow, but you will also be in the oldest building in Georgia, which is haunted. On that note, we recommend skipping the late night ghost tour. It was, let's just say, our guide Bob could put the dead to sleep with his voice and he appeared to be one breath away from being on the other side of the conversation.
The daytime trolley tour was great! We shopped, we saw, and we conquered beautiful Savannah.
