Day Trippin'

Our second stop was Panama City, Florida, the home of Leah, Albert, and Deuce Maulding. All we can say about this trip is that Deuce, who is almost 2, is "freakin cute" according to Louise and "absolutely precious" in the words of Thelma. On our first night, at 8:15 exactly, Deuce wanders into the living room and announes, "Ni Niiiiiiiiiiiiii ma ba a en en (translates: Night Night, Mary beth & Jen Jen), then procedes to give the "I'm going to bed now" look to his parents and walks into his room and crawls into bed. By himself. It made us want to have kids. Or more appropriately, we just want Deuce. Thelma also got to see her very first sunset over the water and Across the Universe for the first time. We now embrace the hippie aspect of wandering across the country. But we do shower. Sometimes....
